Arcopoli
LGTBI+ association fighting discrimination and hate crimes.
Founded in 2004 at Madrid's ETSAM architecture school, Arcopoli is a feminist, antiracist LGTBI+ association working across the Community of Madrid. It provides free psychological care and legal advice, runs the Madrid Observatory against LGTBIphobia (documenting incidents since 2016), and delivers school workshops on sexual diversity and gender identity through its 'Madrid Sin Odio' program. Arcopoli pays particular attention to LGTBI+ migrants, refugees and asylum seekers facing compounded discrimination, and trains public and private-sector professionals on inclusive practices, making it one of the region's main resources for legal protection and anti-hate-crime advocacy.
