Chrysallis
Support network for families of trans children and youth.
Chrysallis is a Spanish association of families with trans children and adolescents, born in 2013 from parents connecting online after having a trans child. It offers peer support groups, legal guidance on civil-registry name and gender-marker changes, and a resource library with storybooks and teacher guides used in schools. Chrysallis engages in policy advocacy for trans minors' rights and organizes visibility campaigns and public events. Rather than a walk-in office, it operates mainly through regional family groups, social media and messaging channels, connecting families across Madrid and the rest of Spain with information, mutual support and legal orientation.
