Fundacion 26 de Diciembre

Fundacion 26 de Diciembre is a nonprofit dedicated to the wellbeing of LGTBIQ+ older people, many of whom face isolation after decades of discrimination. It runs the Residencial Josete Massa, a residence with 62 places plus a day-care center, and a wider Community Center for LGTBIQ+ seniors in Madrid offering home-care assistance, psychological support, employment help, and sexual health services. The foundation supports around 800 people a year through direct care, social activities and intergenerational programs, aiming to guarantee a dignified, discrimination-free old age for LGTBIQ+ people across the Madrid region.
