Mr Gay España (Final Madrid)

Mr Gay España is Spain's national pageant celebrating LGBTQ+ visibility, activism and diversity, using an entertainment format to promote equality and community role models. Contestants representing Spain's regions compete throughout the year, culminating in a live final staged in Madrid during Pride week, typically at Plaza de España, which draws tens of thousands of spectators as one of MADO's most-attended events. Now in its second decade, the contest emphasizes each finalist's personal story and commitment to LGBTQ+ rights as much as pageantry. The winner goes on to represent Spain at the international Mr Gay World competition.
