Sauna Lavapiés

Sauna Lavapiés was the first gay sauna to open in the bohemian Lavapiés district, close to Embajadores and Atocha metro stations. Renovated in recent years, it has a cave-like, industrial-chic atmosphere with a dry sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, dark room, cruising areas, private relaxation cabins and a bar. Massage services are offered for an additional cost, and free condoms and lube are provided at reception. Open daily from early afternoon until dawn, with themed nights including nudist and younger-crowd days, it attracts a mixed, alternative clientele and is considered one of Madrid's more laid-back sauna options.
